Cool reviews for Horror Movie Pie Fight

Denver is our new favorite city. Queen City Sounds and Arts gave a super swell review, saying it had “both a forcefulness and a sense of fun—art punk with a knack for pop hooks and bereft of pretentiousness.”

The good people at Last Day Deaf added Horror Movie Pie Fight to their February soundtrack calling the song an “alternative rock smasher” and “stunning, highly energetic, lo-fi-punk debut single (like an imaginary studio jam between Suicide with early-era Strokes)”.

Many thanks to Djolo calling it “big rock that stains and slams”–though the review is in French, and Google translate might not be the best to capture the “je ne sais quoi” of the language.

Other great coverage from: Given to Rock, From the Straight, Amplify Music Magazine, MP3s and NPCs, NYS Music.
